• Devices Technical details and description of the essential technical and performance characteristics of the devices to be supplied and installed; establishing conformity to technical specifications provided.

Provision of a dedicated fiber optic internet at Vision Fund Rwanda PLC Muhima and Nyarutarama Offices

Please quote for provision of a dedicated fiber optic internet for Vision Fund Rwanda offices

For bandwidth capacity of different capacity.

Specific Requirements

• The Internet service provider will provide Internet services for the VFR office at contracted bandwidth (to be determined after evaluation of submitted quotes)
• The document should show quotes for Speed such (1, 5, 10 ,15, 20) Ups and Down
• Connection should be fiber optic end-to-end and the service is expected to be highly stable and reliable.
• Supporting VPN Services.
• A fixed monthly fee Internet service with an option for quarterly or 6 months’ payment plan (Please indicate payments for each period).
• No limitations on traffic/ports; bandwidth capacity should be ensured through directIP connection;
• Subnet of at least 6 static publicly routable IP addresses
• The ISP should have redundancy on the major international gateways- Please provide details of existing international links that you work with.
• Provide traffic management tools, network monitoring and access to bandwidth utilization
• Service reliability must be ensured.
• Overall uptime should not be less than 99%- Please providing a detailed SLA
• Have a physical presence in Kigali, Rwanda; Availability of free and unlimited 24/7 technical support throughout the service provision period.
• Key services to be supported include the following internet-centric tasks:
• Emails · Virtual private networks (i.e., no port blocking for VPN services)
• Multimedia presentations, including Skype · Large file transfers (ftp traffic)
• Cloud services (hosted email, hosted accounting applications,)
• Online banking
• Downloading/uploading large files
• Online backup and Online research
• Remote support applications
• VOIP in place of PBX phone systems (when the need arises)

Additional requirements:

The vendor(s) may carry out a site visit in order to establish the feasibility of a proposed Internet

The vendor will be responsible for providing all hardware equipment required to carry out the full implementation of the Internet service.

The bidder should precise Deliverables, Timelines, and other conditions if any.

In order to avail all necessary information related to the mentioned works/service, to enable preparing the bidding documents basing on the true and accurate information, a site visit shall be organized for all interested suppliers at Kigali branch-near former BPR-house at Muhima on 25^th February 2025 from 10:00- 12:00 am.

Note that each Lot will be quoted separately and maximum two lots are allowed.
